| I filed my taxes on Feb 5th online and my application was accepted on the 6th. It's been 20 days and I still have not received my refund where last year, I received it within a week. So I visited the "Where's my California State Refund?" section on the IRS website to find out what the hell happened to my refund. So I enter my info in and click continue. And I get this:
Your return has been received and processed, however, your refund cannot be issued at this time.
Due to the state’s persistent cash flow problems, the State Controller has directed FTB to stop sending refund requests to the State Controller’s Office for payment. Refund payments will resume when the State Controller indicates there is enough cash available to make refund payments.
Wtf!? Yea, so I guess I'm not the only one with this problem..... I know California pretty much depleted its money supply but residents pay taxes out of their hard-earned money! California, you take more than you need and don't give it back? Why did you announce that "California will soon run out of money" ONLY 3 months in advance? Why wasn't this issue raised well in advance?
I mean.... it happened already so nothing much I can do or say but I was just kind of shocked. I just wonder..... when will enough cash be available????

| I love WikiHow:

lol.... it's so meaningless, I love it. This reminds me of a calculation a classmate back in 3rd grade showed everyone in class... I forgot what the equation was, but you end up with "55378008" on the calculator. If you turn it upside down, it spells "BOOBLESS" lol... so stupid
